Looper Full Movie Hd 1080p > DOWNLOAD (Mirror #1)

Show Spoiler

Joe is classified as a "looper", a job in which his employers use time travel to send men from the future to be killed into the past, where Joe can properly dispose of their bodies. However, to tie up loose ends and erase the evidence of his ever being a looper, Joe knows that one day his future self will be sent back for him to kill. When this day comes, Joe's future self is prepared and escapes, and the two men struggle separately in the past trying to evade capture and attempting to fulfill their own personal agendas.
In 2074, when the mob wants to get rid of someone, the target is sent into the past, where a hired gun awaits - someone like Joe - who one day learns the mob wants to 'close the loop' by sending back Joe's future self for assassination.
Writer and director Rian Johnson does a excellent job creating a world where science fiction elements exist but are not as abnormal as something like Star Wars or Star Trek. Though the weapons, hover bikes, and telekinetic powers in this film do not actually exist, Looper gives the audience the impression that could actually one day exist in the future. Looper connects where other movies failed or missed the mark because it gives the audience the feeling that the world has been thought out very strategically. Also all of characters seem to effortlessly fit perfectly in the world that the director created. The protagonist is apart of a gang of killers and is hooked on a strange eye drop drug and very troubled because of the way he had to grow up in rough times. This makes him fit perfectly into the crime ruled place the world has become. Looper successfully turns Joseph Gordon- Levitt into an acceptable young Bruce Willis with the power of make-up and special effects. Joseph Gordon-Levitt also does a very exceptional job of not trying to become the person Bruce Willis is but instead depicting a character who may be a criminal but is also caring sensitive young gunman who might grow old and become the broken and hardened man Bruce Willis plays. A thirty year montage reveals to the audience how one young Joe transitions into becoming old Joe through a hard life on the run. Though older Joe finds love late in life, his past finally catches up with him just like he always knew it would when he send to the past to die. So when young Joe and old Joe cross paths young Joe has to rush through the hard life lessons and emotional maturing older Joe has taken thirty years to accomplish. Older Joe comes to the conclusion that he can put an end to his problems by killing the crime boss of the future, the rainmaker, who is presently a young boy living on the farm where young Joe is making his last stand against his gang who is out to murder him. However, the director Rian Johnson takes a very different approach to the situation of endings all of your problems in the past before they ever get the chance to ruin your future. There is one surprise that all of the audience will probably see coming, but there has never been a good film made that was a hundred percent perfect. Very well thought out science fiction can sometimes seem to be non- existent because of too many complicated acts involving physics that can bring the risk of creating a final project that is not worth viewing or being proud of. Sometimes films incorporate too many explosions or they tend to get lost in a plot that far more difficult to understand than it should be. It may be true that Looper is not the most perfect film ever made, but it pulls in every single element of the plot and storyline and ties everything together very nice and neat. From the moment that the movie comes on all the way to the ending credits Looper keeps the audiences attention without ever displaying a dull moment.
After watching this well crafted movie "Men in Black 3" came to mind which deals with time travel as well. But this one is way more clever and it goes in a more serious and dramatic direction that will keep you glued to the screen. Because you want to know exactly what is going on and how it's going to go down. Maybe there are few time paradoxes or certain time travel elements that isn't fully connected or doesn't make complete sense, maybe some loopholes. But it's a film that portray time travel in a effectively intriguing and entertaining way. When it's finished there might be a chance the audience might want a bit more to the movie. Maybe a bit more action and chase sequences. But with a movie like this, the action is just something partial. What drives this movie is the clever plot and dialogues. But than again Rian Johnson also directed "Brick" which has those elements as well. The idea to this film might not be entirely original but it has enough different elements to make it, it's own film. Plus a lot of ideas has already become movies or written before. So it's way better than a rehash or a remake for sure. From the trailer it seems like it's about a guy that kills people that is sent from the future to the past for money. But when he fails to kill his older self the mafia wants him dead. Thus it's a triple a triple chase movie, but that is only part of the movie. It really does go in a direction I didn't really expect, in a good way. Bruce Willis is Bruce Willis and he is good at what he does, except he brings about more emotion in this than usual. But it's usually always a pleasure to see Bruce in action movies, especially if the story is good. Now Bruce plays the older version of the main character named Joe but the real protagonist is the younger Joe. Played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, now I don't know if it's the make up and everything or Josephs acting, probably both. But he really does pull off the younger version of Bruce Willis from the way he talks to his expressions. There is also Jeff Daniels in this who plays Abe who is a guy sent from the future to be a manager for the loopers. Now his presence with Joseph isn't as strong as in "The Lookout" but it's good never the less and a bit intimidating. Anyways if anyone is in the mood for a clever, innovative sci-fi movie with some interesting elements this movie will definitely be worth checking out. In fact this is probably my favorite sci-fi movie of 2012.

8.7/10
Perhaps the most thrilling thing about Looper is watching Johnson really grow leaps and bounds as a filmmaker.
They were only meant to take Old Joe but the henchman was startled by his wife and fired carelessly. She also had a gardening tool in her hand that, at a quick glance, looked like a weapon. As previously stated, the killing of Joe's wife was unintentional. However, it's not impossible to murder people in the future. It's just impossible to get away with it. So it's likely that henchman would have been apprehended and charged for her murder. We don't know the specific laws of the time machine. One could assume that time travel technology simply moved people through time, not space (though, when you travel through time you are moving through space as the Earth is constantly moving through space). The Kansas cornfield where the murder victims-to-be show up could be the site of a secret mob time-travel facility 30 years later. Rian Johnson has hinted in an interview that all the time machines have fixed locations, so they cannot be changed to send victims into space, the sea, directly into a furnace, etc. Looper indeed has its unique way of looking at the concept of time travel. Many people have praised the way the concept is depicted here, yet they have also indicated that this approach allows for quite a few plot holes.

The most obvious ones arise from the fact that the story seems unaffected by so-called time paradoxes. A prime example of this is the final twist: young Joe realizes that old Joe is about to kill Cid's mother Sara, which will be the event that causes Cid to become the feared Rainmaker. So young Joe sacrifices himself, and by killing himself, old Joe also vanishes. Sara lives, Cid never becomes the Rainmaker, and the dark future is prevented. But this immediately causes a paradox: if young Joe is dead, then he can't age to become old Joe. If old Joe doesn't travel back to the past, he can't set in motion most of the events in the movie that cause the finale, including young Joe killing himself. And if young Joe doesn't kill himself, old Joe will be sent back in time, forcing the world to go into an endlessly repeating cycle of events.

This is often referred to as the "Grandfather paradox", named after the thought experiment where one cannot theoretically go back in time to kill one's grandfather: doing so would prevent you from being born. If you're not born, you can't travel back in time, and thus you can't kill your own grandfather, which, in turn, causes you to be born, travel back and kill your grandfather. In short, a paradox will ensue when one travels back in time, and does something to affect the act of the time travel itself.

In an interview, Rian Johnson, director of Looper, has indicated that it was part of an early creative decision to take a linear approach to time, instead of one where there is a constant switch to alternate timelines. This means that time is dealt with on a moment-to-moment basis ("nothing has happened until it happens"). In practice, this means that any changes made to the timeline do not retroactively affect the entire timeline; they only take effect from the moment that changes were made ("Everything is kind of being created and fused in terms of the timeline in the present moment; the universe would realize [the change and] catch up with it").

For example, as soon as young Joe starts to carve messages for old Joe into his arm, Joe receives the scars from this change. Technically, he should have had them even before he was sent back in time. So the timeline is not completely re-written; the change has no effect on the past (before the change), only the future (after the change).

In Johnson's own words: "What's important is what the experience of these people are in the events that happened in the movie. And that, you have to experience in a linear fashion." Whether or not this is an accurate depiction of time-travel, it does conveniently negate the effects of time paradoxes.

"Powerful Love" by Chuck & Mac.
